Important Notes Before Travelling
• To get to Ho Chi Minh City, I flew into Tan Son Nhat International Airport, which is about 7 km from the city center. I took a taxi from the airport, which cost around 150k vnd (£5).
• The currency in Vietnam is the Vietnamese dong (vnd). I exchanged some money at the airport and used ATMs to withdraw cash when needed. The exchange rate was about 30k vnd to £1.
