Important Notes Before Travelling
• Getting to Chiang Mai is easy by bus, train, or plane from other parts of Thailand. I flew from Bangkok with Air Asia for a cheap and quick flight.
• The best way to get around Chiang Mai is by walking, taxi, tuk-tuk, or moped. I rented a moped for a day to explore the outskirts of the city and it was a lot of fun and convenient.
