Overview
Important Notes Before Travelling
• The main mode of transport in Tokyo is the subway and train system, which is efficient, convenient and affordable. I used a prepaid IC card (such as Suica or Pasmo) to pay for fares and avoid buying tickets every time.
• I also bought a Japan Rail Pass, which gave me unlimited access to JR trains, including the Yamanote Line that circles around the city and connects to many attractions.
